Service centers specializing in Caterpillar diesel engines and owner-operators should install a new Vibratech TVD damper at the current Caterpillar C10, C12 and C13 recommended 300,000 mile Crankshaft Vibration Damper service interval* or whenever a major engine overhaul or in-frame rebuild is performed.  The damper is available in a raw steel finish coated with rust preventative suitable for paint application.
